Who Is Margot?

Great question! Margot is a Nova Scotian born, Toronto based Hairstylist, proud mother to Homer & full time Psychology student.

Margot’s hair career has involved working on major television & film productions, collaborating with phenomenal artists, teaching hairstyling at CMU, all while maintaining a loyal hair clientele.

After closing the Hair by Home studio at College and Dovercourt, Margot is pursuing an undergraduate degree full time at TMU.

While in school for the remainder of 2025 Margot’s client list is closed. For regular clients, hours of operation are Fridays 12-4:30 and select Saturdays 11-2.

Please see the wonderful stylists at John Steinberg & Associates if there isn’t appointments available to do your hair during this time and check back in April for Spring/Summer availability.

Interested in having a listening session? While studying to become a certified Psychologist, Margot is offering listening sessions by phone, Zoom or walking and talking sessions in the west end of Toronto. Hypnotherapy will be offered in 2025/2026.
